You might notice the URLs are different! I added rewrite rules for character, art, writing, and tag pages. Characters are now found under /char/$number, writing is now under /writing/$number, art is now under /art/$number, and tags are now under /tag/$name. Since this is a rewrite, the old links still work! But the new ones look a lot nicer.

I also rewrote my permission statement to be more specific and less restrictive (basically, I un-vagued a lot of stuff, which makes it easier to tell what I actually allow). The only thing stopping me from using a CC license for my art is that I'm a bit of a control freak, lmao.

But here's the real big thing I did: I completely rearranged my links page! I changed a portion of it into a "bookmarks" section that can be searched by tag. I realized I was accumulating a lot of links and thought this might be useful.

The updates to the links page are quite large, though not large enough! I added new links and rearranged everything into categories, so hopefully it's easier to read now. I'm contemplating a "bookmarks" system of some sort, but then I would probably have to separate out the button wall, so it'll take some time to cook up if I decide to go for it.

I also fixed a minor issue that led to blank headings (I forgot a check in my header file). Hopefully, my site is now slightly kinder to people using screen readers because there aren't ghost headings anymore.

It's short, but I have a couple characters I'm working on that need it. :3

Also: changed all dexes, character page galleries, and the tags page to sort characters alphabetically and art/writing by date.

Hopefully that makes things easier to navigate!

Aside from that, updated a couple of character pages that accidentally used an old name for a character who had a recent name change.

Other than that, random tweaks like removing my last build date on the feed because I kept forgetting to update it, so it was basically useless.

Tweaks

• Changed so much about the light mode that it would be 80% of this list if I didn't just leave it at this (I still think it's ugly as fuck but at least it's mildly usable)
• Changed non-heading font spacing and weight for both color themes
• Adjusted background and font colors on dark mode to be milder in an effort to prevent eyestrain
• Split the footer in two (date vs links) and slapped it into flexbox so it'd stop wrapping ugly on mobile
• Added top and bottom of page navigation arrows
• Other than that, mostly little things like changing file paths or adding spaces to places that were supposed to have them but didn't
