Personality

Shor-Ef is a highly loyal and immensely short-tempered nebulis. It holds grudges with ease and enjoys enacting retribution for perceived slights. Though it does care deeply for those around it, its anger often blinds it to the harm it causes.

History

Summary

Shor was born alongside Sir and Zen. The three traveled together and grew very close, eventually finding the Sa. They adopted a matching second half of their names, Ef. Shor-Ef always admired and got along very well with Sir-Ef, so when Zen-Ef decided to leave the Sa after it was promised power, Shor stayed with Sir. When the Three-Kiste War began, Shor was betrayed when Zen revealed himself as a high-ranking member of the Lenetae. His bitterness only grew when Zen cracked Shor's core.

Detailed History

• Shor, Sir, and Zen were born among a large group of nebulisae. They decided to travel together.
• They found the Sa. They adopted the last name Ef, deciding to stick together permanently.
• Zen learned that one of the nebulisae who created it was a Lenetae, and wanted to journey to the Lenetae to meet them. Shor viewed this as waste of time, but Sir supported it, so Shor came along. After arriving, Zen wanted to stay in the Lenetae. Sir begged it to reconsider, but it refused. Sir and Shor left.
• Sir became the Tos Ani of the Sa. Shor supported Sir every step of the way.
• Zen returned--with an army of Lenetae. He demanded that the Sa surrender and join the Lenetae. Sir refused, and a battle ensued. Zen cracked Sir's core. Shor vowed vengeance.
• As Sir's health declined, Shor took his place as Ani during hunts.
• After many devastating battles, Sir surrendered, too ill to fight and not wanting its kiste perish in the face of the combined power of the Lenetae and Fai. Shor did its best to support Sir, but was deeply angered that it surrendered.
• After the battle against Checksum, Sir finally gained the hope to rebel. Shor was unable to be by its side as it fought the other Fashi, but it was there to help lead the Sa away from the Order. However, Ish-Ki was able to participate in the fight...
• Forced to work together in both politics and hunting, Shor and Ish often bickered. Sir asked Shor to be kinder to Ish many times, but Shor refused, seeing Ish as nothing but an inconvenience. It didn't help that Ish was also a Fodanipav, leading Shor to feel it was being replaced.
• Upon Sir's death, Shor took over as Tos Ani of the Sa. After Ish attempted to kill him, it named Ish as its favored, knowing Ish didn't want to become Tos Ani. If Ish kills it now, Ish will be forced to take the position.

• Ish-Ki: Shor and Ish-Ki disagree fundamentally on many things, and neither will back down. espite this, Shor tolerates Ish because Sir saw something it admired in Ish. Sir judged Ish to be the best candidate for Tos Ani after ot gains experience, so Shor will see its will through. Ish will become Tos Ani whether it wants to or not, and Shor will ensure it's a good one--even if that means training Ish itself.
• Zen-An: Shor despises Zen, viewing him as a traitor. If it had the opportunity to kill Zen, it would, and it would take delight in his suffering.

• I associate it with Soft by Motionless in White.
• Shor was a fodanipav, but took Sir's place during hunts. When Sir died, Shor became an Ani. Despite being an Ani, it still views itself as a fodanipav. If asked to answer honestly, it would claim it's a fodanipav acting as an Ani.
