Personality

An-Sha is loyal and obedient to a fault. Though he does think for himself, he rarely protests against authority and tends to run himself in circles to justify those in power. He likes to believe that he is a kind and just nebulis, but the truth is much less clear cut. He often gets so wrapped up in his own thoughts and by following the rules that he forgets to consider how others feel, or even views their feelings as invalid.

History

Summary

An-Sha joined the Lenetae after completing his aesach. He made few close friends in his kiste, eventually meeting Re-Nai Fai. Through her, he met Gal-Xi Fai and Ish-Ki Sa. They got along well enough, until the battle against Checksum. Re-Nai was killed in the battle. Ish-Ki and Gal-Xi aided in the murder of the Fai Fashi and the near-murder of the Lenetae Fashi. They begged An-Sha to come with them to the Rrer Sa. He refused, horrified by their actions. The Lenetae Fashi, upon hearing about this refusal after his recovery, was intrigued by An-Sha's principledness and offered him a position beside him.

Detailed History

• An was created near many other nebulisae, the majority of which left him behind. He traveled to the Lenetae with a handful of others, but they didn't get very close. When he arrived, he took the secondary name Sha.
• He met Re-Nai, and Gal-Xi and Ish-Ki through her. He was very close with Re-Nai and got along alright with Gal-Xi, but he and Ish-Ki frequently clashed over differing beliefs.
• When the Fashi Klashae called for nebulisae to join the battle against Checksum, An-Sha wanted to refuse. He wasn't a fighter, and unlike Ish-Ki, he wasn't drafted, so why should he? But Re-Nai and Gal-Xi insisted on going with Ish in a show of solidarity. He couldn't let them leave him behind, so he went with them. Re-Nai died in the fight.
• An attempted to speak with Gal and Ish, but they were always busy. Then, suddenly, a meeting was called. The Sa Fashi emerged with the Lenetae Fashi, Zen-An, on its back, and threw him to the ground. It declared that the Sa were leaving, and any nebulis fed up with the Woiti could come with them. Ish begged An to come, but he couldn't look it in the eyes and view it as the same nebulis after knowing it helped an attempted assassination against his kiste's Fashi. He refused.
• Since he had a front row seat to Zen-An's injury, he was immensely interested in his recovery. He offered to guard Zen against intruders--an offer that his closest advisor, Ai-Si Fai, reluctantly accepted. When Zen finally woke, An explained his story, and Zen was impressed. He offered An a permanent position.

• Zen-An: An looks up to Zen, admiring him for being the Fashi of his kiste.

• Gal-Xi: Like with Ish, An wishes they were still friends, but he cannot overlook Gal's role in the formation of the Rrer Sa.

• He was one of the first nebulisae I created, back before most of their biology and culture was fleshed out. Because of this, his original name was Aqua.
