Personality

Ai-Si is a deeply loyal and self-sacrificial character. She craves admiration and power, and will do almost anything to gain them, but they elude her at every turn. Despite this, she presses on, unwilling to surrender--even if she is well past the point of no return.

Mannerisms

• Ai-Si has a horrible, terrible case of the fawn response. It's her go-to for most situations, which often puts her in a really bad spot.
• She speaks very dramatically, and is generally very expressive. Others often find it off-putting, but she rarely notices.

History

Summary

Ai-Si was created alone. Her first experience with other nebulisae was in the middle of a battlefield during the Three-Kiste War. She was found by a Fai nebulis, who offered to let her join her kiste. Ai-Si eventually met Vi-Kara the Conqueror and through him, Zen-An. She grew very close with Zen-An, and the two vowed to rule the three kiste together. But, when Zen-An chose a new Fai Fashi, he didn't choose her. Determined to prove herself and unwilling to accept that her relationship with Zen may be more one-sided than she thought, she vowed to assist the new Fai Fashi, Mil-Ke, in any way she could. But as Mil started questioning Zen-An's leadership, she was torn between her vow and her loyalty to Zen-An.

Detailed History

• Ai-Si was born alone in the void of space. She traveled through various universes and planets before landing in the middle of a battlefield during the Three-Kiste War. A Fai nebulis saved her, and she joined her kiste.
• After the Fai surrendered to the Lenetae, the Fai nebulis took her to meet with the leader of the Lenetae, Vi-Kara the Conqueror. Zen-An and his mentor happened to be there that day. He and Ai hit it off, and promised to meet again.
• Ai didn't speak much with Zen until the Fai that adopted her was slain in battle. Zen recognized her and jumped in to save her. From then on, they stuck together.
• The Sa finally surrendered, and the Three-Kiste War ended with it. Vi-Kara died of old age. Zen-An took his place as Lenetae Fashi. Ai-Si was overjoyed. She promised to do everything in her power to become Fa Fashi so they could rule together, but the opportunity never came.
• After the battle against Checksum, the Sa Fashi, Sir-Ef, and his supporters attacked Zen-An and the Fai Fashi, Mor-Tez. Zen was severely injured, and Mor was killed. Ai stayed by Zen's side as he recovered, meeting An-Sha in the process. Zen appointed An as a guard, making him Ai's subordinate. She had some doubts about him, but quickly changed her mind as she got to know him.
• Since the Fai Fashi was dead and the Sa rebelled, Zen took ultimate power by declaring a state of emergency. This gave him the ability to appoint the next Fai Fashi. Ai-Si fully expected to be appointed Fai Fashi, and was shocked when Zen-An chose Mil-Ke instead. Rather than fighting for the position, Ai-Si resolved to be the best support Mil-Ke could possibly receive.

Allies

• An-Sha: Despite harboring initial doubts, Ai grew to respect An. As she continued to train him, she began viewing him as something akin to a son.
• Mil-Ke: After vowing to aid her in any way she could, she and Mil grew very close.
• Zen-An: Zen and Ai used to be very close. For a long time, Zen was the most important nebulis in Ai's life. But Ai isn't certain Zen feels the same.

• Shor-Ef: Shor is one of Sir's strongest supporters, so Ai despises him on principle.
• Sir-Ef: Sir is the leader of the Rrer Sa and responsible for great harm to Zen, so Ai despises him.
