Personality & History

Personality

Tenu is a generally stoic cat who is able to keep a clear head in tense situations. However, due to being born hearing tales of the suffering the Leaves endured under Eklis's onslaught, she prioritizes keeping the peace over doing what's right.

History

Tenu was born and raised in the Tree's Leaves shortly before the assassination of Eklis the Warmaster. Due to her father, Beedel the Peaceless, being the current Presider and Eklis's killer, she always wanted to take the position and prove herself. But that time came sooner than she assumed when Beedel died suddenly. Despite her youth, the Leaves elected her over the other candidate (her own mother, Shado), who also supported her.

Relationships

Allies

• Beedel: Beedel was Tenu's father. She looked up to him and wanted to be just like him. Deep down, she worries she has failed at that.
• Keeden: Keeden is Tenu's mate. She's one of the few cats Tenu lets her guard down around.
• North: North is Tenu's adopted son, who she raised with Keeden. Tenu did her best, but she was often busy, so they don't have the closest relationship.
• Shado: Tenu's mother. Tenu is very close to her and does her best to take her advice into account, but her fears lead her astray. Tenu knows Shado is dying, and fears her loss.

Foes

• Tabith: Tenu fears Tabith, especially as she has become increasingly erratic after the death of her son, Snobal.

Misc

• Tenu's name is a mutation of Tengu, a carryover name from when the Tree's Leaves once knew humans.
