Personality

Sunshine is outwardly cold, but much of this is due to his physical inability to emote. He knows little about the world due to being created very recently, but many things feel familiar to him that should not. He generally keeps to himself, but doesn't push others away if they approach him. He is fiercely protective of those he cares about, and quite territorial. He enjoys fighting and--being a superweapon--is quite good at it.

History

Sunshine was created by Tekbro Industries to 'keep the peace' in TekCity through any means necessary. An early encounter with Ochre and the other Wood Dwellers led him to become curious about the world outside TekCity. At the same time, Ochre sensed something about him was different from the other robots Tekbro Industries created. The Wood Dwellers captured him, and Sunshine spent a while restrained underneath their care before deciding to give them a chance. It was the best choice he ever made.

Allies

• Ochre Taily: Ochre is Sunshine's closest friend. Sunshine admires him for his spirit and kindness, and he was the one who made Sunshine realize there was beauty in the world.

Foes

• Elias Tekbro: The individual who funded his creation and took the credit for it. Sunshine doesn't have any strong feelings about him, but he's hurting Sunshine's friends.
• Cora Lyonia: Sunshine's actual creator. He has fond memories of her, but they're tainted by the knowledge of what Tekbro Industries as a whole has done.

Misc

• Sunshine was built to resemble a fishercat, an animal known to eat porcupines (of which Elias is one). This species was chosen because Elias wanted to create something that could terrify others into submission.
• Sunshine's design was inspired by a TEKNO inspired Ravage design I created, Tekno the Robotic Kitty, Tekno the Robotic Puppy, and Mechanicat from Krypto the Superdog. In my original paper sketches, Sunshine had a Tekno-like face display.
