A white mettalus with a thick, darkly colored mane. She has black ears that blend in with her mane. Her eyes are blue, and her left one has an opaque cornea with scarring on the eyelid. Her headplate and pawplates are blue and X-shaped. She wears a red shirt with gray accents and a blue skirt.

Personality & History

Personality

On the outside, Anura was a very laid back and friendly individual, always ready to lend a helping hand or diffuse a situation. But despite this outward friendliness, she was closed off, and rarely shared her thoughts or feelings. A kind and compassionate but distant face within the rebellion.

History

Anura joined the rebels at a relatively young age, but still after her headplate was placed. She met Tee when he was stealing food from her home, and, charmed by his feral nature and dislike of the government, offered to bring him to the rebels. They ended up working together after that, and Tee became one of the few that she actively sought out.

Anura was killed during a mission.

Misc

Anura was originally created as a sona. I decided to use her in a story because I really liked her design and wanted an excuse to use it more, but the more I used her in the story, the less comfortable I felt using her as a sona.
In the earliest versions of what would become the Tirtenverse, Anura had a starring role. With each revision, she has been driven further and further into the background.
Anura's original design was a feral cat. She received an anthro form that was rarely used before eventually being converted to a mettalus.
