Appearance (Written)
A tan-skinned tir with green eyes and red hair. She has a light lock of hair near her forehead. Her casual outfit is a blue long-sleeve shirt, green pants, and sneakers. Her vigilante outfit is a dark green shirt, dark green pants, chestpads with the shoulders removed, kneepads with an X-shaped design on them, dark green sneakers, sports goggles, and dark green hockey gloves. She wears wrist braces, which are plainly visible in her casual outfit but hidden her her gloves in her vigilante outfit.
Height: ~6ft
Body type references: Thin-framed but muscular (I've described her before as a "suspiciously muscular pipe cleaner")

Personality & History
Personality
Natara is serious and determined. She is confident in herself and witty. Her closed-off exterior tends to intimidate others, but she is good at heart. She struggles with expressions of affection which may lead others to assume that she is cold or uncaring, but this is far from the case. She is actually quite emotionally and socially intelligent, but just finds emoting too taxing and is not used to giving or receiving affection.
Despite falling into the "stoic leader" archetype (and despite her claims that she is not the leader), she is actually quite lenient. It is difficult for her to hold others' mistakes against them, and she believes that having breaks is important. Rather than being overly stern, she may actually be too casual. Nat doesn't like attention or fame, and does not view herself as a hero when she is out as Exie. She's just trying to help. Despite being the face of the team, there are moments where she wishes they were completely unknown.
Hobbies and Interests
- Ice hockey (both playing and watching--she's an avid fan)
- Sculpting
- Woodworking
- Model and diorama making (mainly paleo art)
- Writing (mainly speculative prehistoric fiction and hockey RPF)
- Studying mathematics and physics
Mannerisms
- She is bothered by objects without uniform textures, especially food (ex: flooring that is just rocks with cement around them or chunky mashed potatoes).
- She is faceblind (or at least close to it) and to compensate for this, is very good at identifying voices and clothing. However, if someone does not speak or changes something drastic about their appearance (ex: getting a haircut) she will not be able to tell who they are for a period of time.
- She is generally very stiff when standing still, and has great balance.
History
Natara was born to Persi, a yakomtir (high-ranking politician) and Custard, a scientist. Her parents often argued, particualrly about her, since she was an unexpected child, and eventually divorced. This forced her to move away from her close childhood friend, Jaes. Many years later, she would move to defend someone who reminded her of him by placing a distortion aura on his goggles to keep him from being recognized after he shapeshifted in public, not knowing it was actually Jaes himself. This, along with going out to find her friends' missing child, set into motion a set of events that would lead her to working with Jaes (who she knew as Felid at the time) and Bloodfang to solve her father's murder.
Relationships
Allies
- Bloodfang: Bloodfang is Natara's estranged aunt. She didn't trust her at first, only knowing her from the news. But as they worked together, she got to know her better and began to reconsider.
- Kendra: Kendra fought Nat, Jaes, and Bloodfang before realizing the truth about their identities. Natara is mostly just glad to have one less enemy, though she does find Kendra's antics amusing occasionally.
- Jaes: Jaes is Natara's childhood friend. When she learned he was Felid the whole time, she was happy to be reunited with him.
Foes
- Custard: Custard is Natara's estranged mother, and the one behind the plot she and the others are attempting to stop.
Misc
- I associate her with Counting on Hearts by Icon for Hire.
- She is sensitive to high contrast light. For example, she has to turn her phone to the lowest brightness setting to use it at night, and even then still struggles. Because of this, she dislikes streetlights. Flashlights are her mortal enemy.
- Though the gloves in her Exie outfit protect her hands during a fight and increase the damage she can deal with a punch, they decrease her grip strength (at least when it comes to objects thinner than a hockey stick) and dexterity drastically.
